Conner's birthday was the 23rd of Feburary. So, on the 28th we took him and a friend to go horseback riding at the stables on base. He loved it. Mike went with the boys (Conner, his friend Tyler, and Kyle) while I stayed with the little ones Jake and Sarah and took them on a pony ride. It was a beautiful 83 degrees outside, perfect weather to ride a horse. Jake and Sarah had a blast on the pony trail. It was a 10 min. walking trail where I guided the horse and they rode. We went around the trail 4 times (2 times per kid). Mommy got her workout. When the boys got back from their ride, they had stories to tell about how they saw a rattlesnake on the trail, and how Tyler's horse kicked Mike's horse. It was a fun day. We will have to do it again.
