Today was Conner (4th grade) and Kyle's (2nd grade) first day of school (Jake starts after Labor day). This year they had to ride the bus. We are about 2 miles away from the school. The both had a good day. After Kyle got lost finding his class.
Conner had Japanese class today and learned a phrase. "Boku wa Conner desu." (my name is Conner).
The also had a "Ringing in the year" ceremony on the playground first thing in the morning. Can you see the gorgeous view they have of the East China Sea. The school is very small about 260-270 kids. It's the smallest DODDS school on Okinawa.
