Melt them and make new Heart ones. Perfect for Valentines Day.
This was a fun easy craft project. The kids love using their new crayons.

Go Conner!

Today Conner tested for his Orange Belt in Karate. He had to show that he knew his Kata, & grapple arts. He did very good. He knew all his holds and maneuvers. You can tell that he was nervous during his Kata, but he did great. He was presented with his orange belt. Way to go Conner!

Fall Finally Arrived on Okinawa

I guess you can say that fall finally arrived on Okinawa. The weather is now cold and windy and our tree out front started losing it's leaves. Kyle took this a prime opportunity to pile the leaves up and play in them.

Sarah wanted to join in the fun.

Nature Pictures

I got a new camera for Christmas. I love taking pictures with it. Especially nature pictures (I think I got that from my parents). I'm still learning. I still need a lot of practice. These are some of my favorites that I took when we were in the butterfly garden.

Parents visit part 2

Peace Prayer Park
This is where a lot of people died in the Battle of Okinawa in WWII. It is now a big park. The Cornerstone of Peace has names of people who died written on black walls, much like the Vietnam memorial in the U.S. This is also where the suicide cliffs are. A lot of Japanese military and civilian jumped off to avoid being captured by the Americans.
